The story begins with a helpful degree of background, setting the stage for the main story to begin. I quite liked the concept, it was unique and interesting. The writing was good, and the action sequences were well done. For me, I have to either like the MC or find them interesting – and in this case both of these goals were met. It’s also a story that sets up a compelling series, which I appreciate.
Narration was strong and sound quality was fine. I felt taken in as I listened, which is my best measure of a good storyteller.
