An excellent follow-on to Book 1 of the series from M.R. Forbes. Though he lost an interesting player, the MC is as sarcastic and cynical as before as he works his necro juju from one twist in the story to another trying to stay alive and get revenge for his partner’s death and to save the magical land Earth had turned into. There is some low-brow humor but it fits the character and the team well.
Jeff Hays continues to provide the voice performance one expects from a narrator of his talents but also the added special effects are strategically added without over-doing it.
If you enjoyed book one, then ditto this on and worth the cost of a credit.
