this story is everything and more. its thrilling frightening suspenseful heartbreaking, it has you rooting and crying for all the characters who are so diverse and real. it grips you immediately from book 1.
there are hard themes that are present in post apocalyptic settings making it uncomfortable to listen to sometimes. I found myself feeling for the characters in every scenario thinking to myself “what would I do?” it definitely gets you thinking.
narrator is awesome and adds to the atmosphere setting the scenes for our characters.
