I adored this book! Joel Leslie brought his usual effortless magic which brought the story to a whole new level.
Oz was adorable, quirk, and strong with just enough sass. Silas is just the right amount of swoony, funny, and everything good.
Together they’re what good stories are made of. The only thing that stopped this from being a 5 start for me is the author tends to be a bit tell – using lots of ly words instead of showing with action. It shows what a great writer she is to largely overcome it in other ways.
It’s a easy recommend for me.
