Nice to be able to move at 1,000 times the speed of light in relation to objects in normal space via slipspace. Love the human nanotech implants and neuro implants into the main character. Nothing like going from human to super human with some high SyFy tech. Like modifying his skeleton for increased strength and speed. Or the ability to learn how to fly a starship with a computer / brain download.
Nice touch to leave a stealth satellite orbiting earth so he can receive downloads like emails and important news.
I hate it when security software is 5 years out of date 10 years ago.
The bar fights are written incredibly childish and are super corny.
Still the story is a fun ride, even if the narrator is 2D, boring and lame. If RC Bray was the narrator, this series would be a massive hit. Staying with this narrator was such a huge mistake for readers and the $ earnings of this series. What can I say, people are generally stupid.
It is worth the credit or purchase. TIP: Start from the beginning – book 1.
