Much time is spent on their survival; I found myself waiting for something to happen. Saying that, the author was completely accurate as far as something happening in the world (here in the USA where I live) that stopped life as we now know it.
Covid-19 arrested life and it happened fast: most were caught unawares. One day we wanted for nothing; the next day we were wearing masks and facing possible food shortages…but most importantly by far, we now find ourselves hoping and praying our loved ones survive Covid-19.
The characters appear real and their struggles with spiritual issues are relatable. It just took some time for them to discuss the end times: I would have suspected end times much earlier than later in this story.
Personally, I feel Covid-19 is just a part of the labor pains the Earth will experience. This novel touches on some sensitive, yet necessary end time issues. I feel if you listen to this book, you will give the author some prophetic credit in light of the Coronavirus we are fighting at this present moment.
