Even though I enjoyed this one, I didn’t as much as the first book. In the first book they set the city on fire. In the second one, not so much. There really isn’t much drama or angst. Though the ending does set us up for the next book. We have Tony who is a very sweet alpha who is a social worker. He is called to a domestic situation and runs into his mate Joey. Joey is a teddy bear, but don’t mess with his family. When they see each other, they know and don’t fight it. Joey also immediately accepts Tony’s son as his own, who is so very cute. We find out what the ladies have kept hidden all these years when it comes to light that they know the Don, Joey’s dad. I can’t wait for the next one!
