A deeply flawed character is usually interesting. A deeply flawed character who keeps making the same mistakes is less so.

Everything is pretty dark all the time in the story. It gets a bit oppressive. The plot winds around quite a bit and seems to confuse the main character.

Andrew B. Wehrlen is an excellent narrator and does a good job on this one.
