There’s plenty of issues of have with this that I figured the author would remedy from the first book…. not so much. The biggest problem is that the MC is a self proclaimed gamer but when it comes to checking what loot has dropped he doesn’t even give it a cursory glance. Well that’s the case for all the big stuff like killing elite monsters above his weight class, if he’s looting a dog or chicken we get the details rather immediately. The next big issue that has been dragged into the second book is how we don’t know anything about his levels or gains unless it’s casually mentioned. Somehow even though he’s supposed to be much higher level than most people he gets his ass beat by an old man he was just restraining with a knife to his neck. I guess all those levels don’t really count for s###. It’s like the author doesn’t know his audience.
