I was not sure I would like this book as I started listening. It’s a litrpg, and they all have a necessary amount of exposition to slug through before the real gaming experience starts. This one was particularly arduous… but it was a little more interesting and believable than other terrible explanations for living in a game world.
Once it gets going, this was a thoroughly enjoyable take on the genre. Nice and long too!
