You can just feel how much Asher loves Jessica in this story. The angst, the heartache, the slow-burn – it was everything! The “probably not” line- wow wow wow!
The action and suspense part – also excellent. Multiple storylines are woven together to create a complex, intriguing, and amazing listen. You need to pay attention or you will miss things.
Jeffrey Kafer was awesome, especially with all the different characters, voices, and accents. I’m starting to struggle a bit with Heather Costa (sorry). She didn’t seem to have as many chapters as Jeffrey so that was a blessing. Her voice just isn’t as crisp as I would like BUT she is not awful, I wouldn’t return the audiobook because of her narrating, and I enjoy her better than many other female voices.
