I have been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for this book to make it’s debut in the Audible world and it did not disappoint. As a fan of this series, we have seen these two characters dance around each other for several books now and we knew that they would eventually end up together, but we certainly didn’t image the story that Brittney would weave. Liam and Emily are truly lost souls in search of resolutions to their tortured histories. They have been badly marred by other relationships and they have closed their hearts.
When these two meet there is always this low hum of crackling energy and it gets just stronger. Their powerful connection cannot be ignored. We get to see them at their worst and their best. The catalyst of this story is a love that they share for one seven year old super genius girl named Elaina. Elaina will help them navigate the mission as well as the their lives.
So on a drunken night in Vegas, it begins…
