5 Blue Roses

3.5 to 4 Blue Flames

Narrator Joel Leslie delivered the highly entertaining and ridiculously funny escapades about two gifted men who are on a mission to save mankind. Yes, that’s how serious this shit is. Joel brought all his playful tricks to the party to give amusing a whole new meaning. This narrator and author duo fits like pancakes and bananas. Just add a little syrup and anything goes! Joel’s ability to pull a person into the story and hold your attention, testifies about his growing success, earning him narrator of the year award.

Seneca and Chevy is a pair of witty gifted agents, called in to assist a man recover his identity by going into his memories. These two characters took me on a side splitting, coffee spewing through the nose, drive home from work. You know how dangerous that is??? I couldn’t keep my eyes open while I laughed. Had to pause the flippen audiobook to get home in one piece.

This book was very cleverly written. Not, only because of the wisecrack dialogues, but the world and character development was done thoroughly, I could visualize it all. Hence, the coffee flying back up through my nasal cavities, ripping a new deviated septum.

The best part in the book was how the characters communicated when they lost the ability to feel guilt or remorse. That meant open season, and anything goes. And why not?

I absolutely recommend this audiobook, it is one of those unforgettables, you will want to hear now and then to lift your mood.

Happy Listening
