Very very interesting and inspirational. Biggest impression is that a book can be so interesting when written and read in such a clinical tone. I have had some remarkable dreams but my control has been negligible. I wish I had this book 40 years ago.
This book, those of Carlos Castenada, the spotty history of psychics, the Bible, Campbell, Jung, and my own experiences all attempt to delineate another plane of existence invisible to most and engendering of hostile opposition in others. I am reminded of starter plants in a gentle Nursery that fail once they’re exposed to the rough winds and direct sunlight of the outside world. Perhaps the opposition is necessary for the growth of a healthy and strong functional psychic.
I suspect all the strange stories told by normal people with abnormal experiences are touching the same phenomenon and told in terms of a Personal Metaphor, from angels and aliens to wheels within wheels.
This book is a valuable approach to this other plane because of it’s unapologetic rudimentary scientific efforts. Great observation.
Great fun.
