I’m not sure where to begin…The book is filled with characters that make you genuinely care about what is happening to them. We’ve all experienced unrequited love and can testify that it sucks. The beauty of this story is that we are allowed to see it play out from both perspectives, both from the person whose in love to the object of the affection. This was done so well.

The secondary characters also contribute in a way that makes sense, adding even more depth and support to the overall love story.

High school wouldn’t be high school without bullies and their terror, and while that isn’t fun to listen too, you still have a level of empathy with the character.

Overall, this is a story that conveys many experiences that you might see yourself in, but pushes things to different levels that you may have wished would or could have happened when you were this young.

Take a trip down memory lane you’ll be glad you did. Remember that the beauty of fiction is that some things can be forgiven in the name of satisfying endings.
