Dead Heading is about an hour. For the story length, there isn’t a whole lot of development, but still managed to be an engaging listen. The author even snuck in a quick fling. This has a condensed 007 feel to it and I enjoyed it.
Empire Runaway, at 90 minutes, it’s a bit longer than the first, but still a quick enjoyable listen. I liked that this one was entirely Sam’s POV. There’s another sexual fling in this one, but nothing too long. Sam Savage works with Maureen to stop a “home grown” terrorist plot to derail a commuter train.
Narration by Andrew B. Wehrlen was good.
