what a performance.

honestly, I normally am not a fan of audiobooks with music in them, but holy hell did Jeff and Anne pull this off. The music really made sense in the context of the book and I really enjoyed the audiobook. These soundbooth theater folks can really put on a show.

The story seems heavily inspired by pokemon, but with a musical twist. I thought it was a fun book that skipped over a lot of grinding by the MC to make a concise story with a fairly obvious plotline. the plot isn’t the main focus of the story though. the main focus of the story is the MC and his growing interactions with his new and old friends.

I’d highly recommend this book just for the music. it was fun and campy and I loved it.
