If you didn’t love Artorian at the end of the first book Axiom, you absolutely will by the end of Alumni. His quarks, flaws and curiosity all combine with his lovable nature perfectly for a lead protagonist.
The story is split into two distinct parts, the first part with the wood elves was a little on the slow side and felt like a lot of set up but when the second part begins watch out! The build up from the beginning really pays off.
I cannot wait to see if and how this series intersects with the main Divine Dungeon storyline, as well as which ascension path and cultivation Law Artorian ends up embodying.
As mentioned, great sequel and I can’t wait for Book 3!
