This was my first meeting with Mad Mick and I fell in love with him. I like it that he is an older person and not buff and slick like so many Heroes. However, Mad Mick can perform in a fight just as well, if not better, than the other heroes that are slick, toned and buff. Mad Mick grew up with violence in Ireland and learned a great deal about making weapons, killing people, and revenge. He won’t stop until he has stomped out everyone who crosses him, and particularly men who dare kidnap his daughter. I listened non stop even though I knew that Mad Mick would prevail because this is a series. I am looking forward to listening to the next three books in the series.
Kevin Pierce is awesome. I love the tone and cadence of his voice. He makes everything so interesting. I feel as if I am in a small room with him and hanging on every word.
