I totally fell for Vasil! And I was surprised how much I grew to like Mason. It was interesting to see his progression from a bitter boy-man to a fully realized adult. Any scene with young Andre – loved it.
Must give it up to narrator extraordinaire Kirt Graves. How he managed to sustain that specific Romanian dialect, with at least 4 individual male voices speaking at any time, was incredible to me. I also found myself charmed by his Leonie voice, as I could “see” her in his performance.
