The second entry in this series loses a lot of the pressure behind the main character that drove his growth in the first book. Instead, the book opts for almost a slice of life entry, with protagonist exploring different jobs and thinking about how to get more money. The series may pick up momentum again in the third book, but for now I would probably keep this book on a wish list and maybe pick it up later on when the series develops further.

Travis baldree rocks it again as the narrator, giving life to all characters no matter the ho hum story backdrop.
