Yes, nice to see new societal viewpoint a but second book in series and this feels like something written by a Russian conservative red neck. Great for others but not my taste
Example of top of head:
– kingdom based justification of moral guidance from the hero. And then. king of “No Mercy”. If the bad guys are really really evil
– “Pansy Ass” really as. A taut From hero
– no governmental oversight. Very Anne Ryan’s or Puntin
– oh welll only 1/2 through and expect more
– good readers predectible story line and pre occupation with tortures
