the entire story is one person being treated unfairly, no real reason besides social prejudice. it may be a cultural thing I don’t understand, but it’s not really “conflict” if it’s random people being mean for no reason, in violation of what the public “rules” are and if practiced in actuality would result in a group of powerful children unable to defend from others.
