All my complaints about the horrific editing in the ebook melted away with the audio performance. Kirt Graves was very good.
I still maintain this not a romance. This is sci-fi/paranormal with a strong love story. If a listener goes into this story expecting a romance, said reader will most likely be disappointed. Secondly, I’m not sure I consider this a shifter story, certainly not in the classic sense. I felt it was more solidly in the sci-fi arena, but you be the judge. That said, it’s a truly brilliant, gut wrenching tale.

I still have the same HUGE complaint that I had about the book… how sex is employed as a simplistic, gratuitous solution to a complicated issue. A fair amount of eye rolling occurred during the untold number of sex scenes throughout the story. But all in all, it’s simply dazzling storytelling.
