Like the first book, this one has a weak female who just goes with the flow of all that is put before her. I feel the sex scenes are included to remind the reader it is not a young adult book.
Narration sounded a little faster on this one and I was almost tempted to slow the speed down. Other than that, it was a decent effort.
These first two books have vaguely reminded me of a vampire series but without all the depth that a longer book has the chance to enjoy.
I’m not giving up yet but do hope Sarah comes into her own soon.
