I had trouble putting this series down! Excellent listen!!
Alot has already been written about the trilogy so just a few notes:
Pros:
-Great characters
– clever, well weaves and often surprising stories w/in the overall storyline
– believable storyline
Cons (tho minor):
– the narrator’s voice is a bit too grandfatherly for a post-apocalyptic tale
– never before have I heard so many (characters) reuse the term “IS THAT CLEAR” ?
– the good guys and bad guys were too cookie cutter stereotyped – would have added depth if there was more complexity and moral ambiguity among the various heroes and villains
Anywho – loved this story overall!
