The elder of Salt village is a very loving grandfather with an adventurer’s past. He had moved to this tiny village to hide from his past regrets. The other village elder will do anything to undermine him. Even go so far as to barter with bandits. The results are disastrous.
Artorian, the elder, will do anything for the village children. The problem is that he is only an old sick man. He is rescued by the cultivators from the church. He learns from them and starts to become a cultivator himself. Once he is stronger, he will go bandit hunting.
This book gets very deep into the lore of cultivation of the Divine Dungeon universe from Dakota Krout. I recommend this book, but it would’ve best to start with Dungeon Born.
The narrator does a great job in this book!
