Even though it’s part of a series, it could easily stand alone. The author lays a solid foundation to this story, followed by a smooth progression. Though it’s a LitRPG, it reads like a solidly thought out fantasy story that hints at Sci Fi. In the manner of flow of this narrative, I recommend it for people who like an unexpected fantasy adventure.
The narration was performed with excellent vocal pressure, and good work when changing to different characters.
I would recommend this audiobook for ages 12 and older due to some violence and suggestive themes.
