I have been waiting for Henry’s story and it was so worth the wait. I found Risk Taker beautifully layered with emotions. Henry and Ivo have such a long and rich history together. They have been each other’s person and support system since they met as teenagers. Because of this they are both leary about changing their relationship. What if it doesn’t work out? Will they lose each other for good?
I really enjoyed the slow burn of this romance. Watching Henry and Ivo explore what they truly are meant to be to each other was amazing. The snark that Lily Morton is so good at enhances everything about these two. The history that they have enriches their love so much. I found myself laughing, sighing, crying and smiling. Everything I could want in a book.
Joel Leslie does an amazing job of bringing this story to life! I will definitely be giving this a relisten!
