Loved this book from SJ Homes.

Angel is sarcastic, brilliant, and deadly. No wonder someone is trying to kill him. Or, it could be about that night ten years ago where he lost nearly all his family and then wiped out an entire vampire army.

And then there’s Simeon, a 400 year old vampire who’s been bidding his time to claim Angel as his own.

The narration is engaging and keeps the story going. I’m not a fan of the accents used, but that’s a personal preference. Twice the wrong name was used. In chapter 6 Simeon was “Simon.” And chapter 11 Eroch was “Eric.” But tempo and speed were very good. I’m just picky.

Full disclosure, I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
