Overall, worth buying if you liked the first book.

A good progression from the first book. Humor, good character dynamics, and interesting world concepts make it fun to listen to.
Narration continues the great performance, with easily recognizable voices for different characters.

Down sides:
Some details of the world don’t add up. This is easy to ignore if you just want to enjoy the humor, but ruins any believable depth. One example is that reaching level 100 in a job has benefits that seem commonly known. Reaching that max level in two jobs offers further benefits, including ageless immortality. Yet, level 100 Rankers are rare. The obvious reason would be that achieving max level is dangerous or takes a long time, but the opposite is established. In fact, with a relatively small gold investment, a non-combat Artisan job can be leveled up to 100 in just over 2 years. Thus, immortality is less than 5 years away for anyone with a little gold. At the very least, all nobility and upper class would be immortal, as there is little to no danger in these jobs.
Another problem is that the writer intentionally tries to mislead the reader on occasion. This is probably meant to be clever, but instead turns a bit obnoxious and slightly jarring.
