Fight the Good Fight is a fast action pack sci fi read. The characters have personalities/traits that are believable and have you invested. I found that I could find a favorite POV story line and liked them all. There are not only social, political, economical issues but also base believe issues which I am not used to having a religious bend in military science fiction. A Jewish space force pilot main character? Not something I thought I’d read before. There are some over dramatic scenes and some that play out as if it is modern time and not a period of time in the far future. The personal angst, hopes, wishes are a nice touch and never pull me out of the story for being too over the top. The acronyms do remind you of the authors personal experience and so does some of the humor. I would say it’s not a standard Space Opera and look forward to getting into Book 2.
