If you’re a fan of the previous three books, then you’ll know Soundbooth theatre began experimenting with adding background sounds and music that many (including myself) found intrusive, too loud, and pulled the listener away from the story. I can happily report all these issues have been resolved in book 4 while actually retaining these sound effects. The volume has been reduced greatly when they are introduced and I find they are more appropriate and not as numerous during the story, which helped to actually draw me in more rather than pull me out.

The story itself is interesting and even more epic and longer in length than the previous books. As the story progresses, the author seems intent on providing richer details and more action to the Haunts tale and delivers well. Good addition to the series!
