I loved everything about this book, from Gia Riley’s wonderful writing style to the story and characters she created to Sarah Puckett’s fabulous narration. The story grabbed me right from the start, it did not just grab my attention it grabbed my heart too. The characters are realistic and easy to related to. I adored Garrett, Megan and Laney, Connor not so much, though at the end redeems himself, though some may not agree. Megan’s life gets turned upside down she finds things were not as they seemed, including her husband. I love how everything plays out in this book, it is well plotted with plenty of drama, a bit of angst, some clever and mind-blowing twists, some heartfelt moments, heartbreaking ones and the start of a great romance. I highly recommend this book, it is entertaining and enjoyable, the storylines are original and ones that will stick with you for a long time, especially after you get to see the whole picture. Gia Riley, thank you for this awesome book, the emotional rollercoaster ride and the brilliant twist, I did not see that coming, well done, very well done!
Sarah Puckett is a talented narrator and voice artist. She does an amazing job portraying the characters and bringing them to life. She give each their own voice and personality, making it easy to follow who is who. She switches roles effortlessly and never misses a beat. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work, she captures all of the characters emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen?
