This is a great book. The main character has nothing given to him. Everything has a price, and boy does he pay for it. The story has ups/downs and is paced really well. He works hard, overcomes obstacles and repeatedly gets the crap beaten out of him. As any MC in a novel should.
I got this book specifically because of Travis Baldree and he does his usual amazing job. If you like his work here, you should definitely check out other works narrated by him. You will not be disappointed.
I’m excited for the 2nd book in this series, and really wish audible had a way to subscribe to new releases in serieses so I would know when pre-orders or new books became available.
