I’ve gone through the first 7 books and they’re all solid. It’s a fun almost but not really lit-rpg with major manga/anime vibes. The plot doesn’t get dull and plot consistently thickens with enough payoff and new challenges to keep you wanting more.

The first book in the series introduces you to a very weak nearly outcast main character. His path is hard and sometimes brutal. Say one thing for the main character, say that he’s a clever little em effer. He could teach you a thing or two. So let him, enjoy the ride, and look forward to the new friends he’ll make. You won’t soon forget this bunch.
