there is good information to learn from this book. you spend the majority of the novel following Madison and her journey of prepping for disaster in less than 24 hours. if you’re new to prepping then this is definitely the book for you. that said, there is so much info about politicians, scientists, and random solar storm info that could absolutely have been cut out of the final draft to make the story flow better. also you can certainly tell the author’s political affiliation in the writing which is unfortunate. why does everything have to be political? can’t we just read some fiction and leave that realm in reality?
and I can thankfully say there isn’t too much Jesus stuff in this book like is found in so much prepper fiction. I don’t mind people having faith but when you beat others over the head with it… well it gets old real quick, but like I said the Christianity mentions are kept to a minimum.
