Just didn’t capture my interest or attention

To be honest I didn’t really feel invested in the characters and the narration was just not doing it for me.

With an audiobook the narration is almost as important as the story it’s self. In this case the story and narration just didn’t interest me.

Often when I buy a book I will consume it voraciously, but in this case the characters, the underlying story and the narration just left me cold.

I’m not sure I could put this down to anyone particular issue but I think I have been spoiled by amazingly good authors and narrators. So when I come across something that isn’t extraordinary I lose interest. Just being brutally honest here.
