The story seems very compressed in this one compared to the previous part; taking place over the course of one game day rather than a week. There are a few points when Lucas does things out of character even compared to the role-play he’s going for as a villain to promote his racial quest and harem to progress the story. It just feels rushed narratively. It also brings into the setting a degree of graphic violence that makes you wonder who would play the game at times. Other immersive RPGs would justify the extreme nature with early bird bugs in the system or a corrupt company, but this game is years old. And toward the end it just goes full tilt into a harem story.

On a performance note: in the last scene a couple of characters Annie is doing have an echo as if they’re in a large chamber while the rest don’t.
