It’s not great. Not at all. I don’t know if it becomes steampunk later on in the books, but I couldn’t stand to listen that far in. I say this, because I found it through the steampunk genre list on here. It seems pretty vanilla medieval. The characters ambitions are either super unclear, or WAY too basic. The transition noise they make is so cringeworthy.
