I don’t think there is a character in this book you actually give a crap about. Two men with archaic views on women, the other man is just weak. The women are weak. The two teenagers are the only value yet they aren’t great either. The adults seem to think any helping of others is doom to them yet can’t see their own attitudes is what will doom them. Can’t see an apocalyptic situation where there is not one leader among the survivors. Will not get the next in the series.
