Bleak Horizons is a well-written, well-plotted post-apocalyptic book with exceptional character development. The storyline is fascinating, engaging, and fast-paced, with great suspense and action. M. Fawkes is a brilliant author, captivating readers/listeners with a compelling story.
The narration by Andrew B. Wehrlen is outstanding. He hones in on the characters’ personalities and emotions, bringing the entirety of the story to life. I loved his performance.
Overall, At Any Cost is a fantastic series, and I recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
