Some weaknesses in the story and the characters, plus repetition mentioned in a few other reviews but the series does get increasingly better. I do think the narrator makes the character sound more whiney that the writing/action dictates.
If you like reverse harem, paranormal/magic, academy romances, it’s defnitely worth it to stick through this book’s growing pains. The writing, plot and characters get tighter as the series continues. I’ve read this series once and am now listening to it.
