All through this book, there are incredible treasures of wisdom and knowledge that Christians should have in order to survive an apocalyptic end Time. These treasures include but are not limited to how to care for chickens, bait and kill a deer, clean fish, pull off complex tactical maneuvers, where to search for gasoline, how to purchase silver, how to grow fruits and vegetables, which kinds of weapons are needed for what purposes, and many more. These treasures of knowledge are woven artistically into the story and because of the excellent descriptive terminology, I can picture the characters executing these tasks and could therefore easily remember a reference point in my memory just in case I am in these situations in the future. I really wish there could be more faith in God displayed on how to heal the sick in the name of Jesus, cast out demons and baptize new believers, but I think the intended audience could be easily put off by radical Christian things and it is meant to help every believer survive these times for as long as possible. If we stay alive longer, we have more opportunities to reach people for Christ. This was an excellent listen, full of anticipation, exciting twists, turns, and brought me to tears once or twice in times where the Holy Spirit spoke to main characters.
