Lucia Franco continues to wow me with her second novel in her Off Balance series. She is a gifted author creates stories that are captivating and filled with drama, angst and so many heartfelt emotions. Her storylines take you out of your comfort zone and may leave you off balance but it is all about the journey, in this case Adrianna’s journey, whom I’ve been rooting for from the beginning, “Balance” the first book. “Execution” picks up where “Balance” leaves off, Adrianna continues to work hard to reach her dream goal of making it to the Olympics but she has to earn it, starting with elite. Kova is working her hard in the gym and while his relationship with her out of the gym is wrong on so many levels he is too weak to stop himself and stay away. He tried to make her hate him but that did not work for him. There is still mystery about him that I can not figure out. I almost felt bad for him in this book, but only almost, and I am not sure if he can redeem himself for what he did to Adrianna. My heart went out to her, she had so many blows thrown her way, l was happy Hayden was there for her, he is such a good person and friend. I am looking forward to what comes next in this awesome series. Lucia Franco, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

I listened to the audible edition, Sarah Puckett is an awesome narrator and versatile voice artist. She continues to bring these characters to life, giving each their own unique voice and personality. Her portrayal of the characters is perfection, she sounds as you picture them to sound. She does an amazing job with the Russian accent in both male and female voices. Impressive how easily she switches character roles, never missing a beat. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures and projects the characters emotions into her performance. Sarah is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen?
