Interesting but not exciting.

The game world and characters are overall interesting enough. This is my first experience listening to a kingdom build based story so the concept was fun to learn about.

The little teases here and there didn’t really make up for a lack of major conflict for the MC. Problems were resolved very quickly and without any long term consequence for failure.

Overall, this is not a bad book and I will try the next one since I heard it’s better. But I doubt I will give it another listen.
