This was my first encounter with Amelia’s work and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a little more retelling of some things than I cared for, but overall it was a good story. Plenty of romance, fantasy, intrigue and drama to keep me entertained. I’m looking forward to discovering who else is helping the puppet master, as well as Cyn’s and Ryder’s secrets, in book 2.
