The Other Princess by Christine Michelle and Christine M. Butler first appealed to me based off the narrators. MC books are not my first love, but the narrators of Sarah Puckett and D.C. Cole are among my favorites. From the very beginning of this book I was pulled in. This is not the typical MC book. There is so much heartbreak, and incredible imagery in this story. I loved how the main character had fortitude and resistance to persevere against those who were her “family”. The descriptions of the tattoos and their significance really sent a punch. I can’t praise the narrators, Sarah and D.C., enough for bringing the characters to life. I will definitely listen to more books by the authors and narrators. Thank you Audiobook Obsession for giving me this incredible listen!
