first the reader some of my disappointment or maybe a lot must be tied to the reader.
when I’m reading fantasy or listening to fantasy in this case the last thing I want to feel like is I’m listening to gone with the wind or some other Western. the man’s accent is just too much and he should stick to reading westerns.
the story is it okay story but getting from a to z seemed…. I don’t know , like aha moments over and over the main character does something but aha and everything is foiled.
but honestly it’s the reader that killed it for me the most. is probably a great reader in a different genre
