Kelly Moore has again brought us into an emotional world that consumes the reader. Her stories always shows the conflicting emotions we feel when traversing life and attempting to heal from our heartbreaks. In this book she adds the love of our friends, and how intertwined we become, as we live.
The narrative somewhat ruined this one for me, and as I also own the kindle version that’s how I will revisit it. It’s read in a almost monotone way that actually works when the grief of loss is heavy and immense, consuming our heroine. As she learns to heal and begin again to live and consider love, it’s distracting and takes us out of those moments. It’s worse in times of excitement or victory. Something is lost when an orgasm is spoken about without inflection. lol
In all though I am more than happy with this, my second story by Ms Moore, and I’ll definitely be purchasing more.
